i wait outside that door so strong,
with invisible chains it seems to be bound....
no cracks, no holes no narrow crevices,
so that not even peep i can around...
and as i wait in vain i cry,
only to realise you've locked me out!
i ask the flying birds if they see you ,
i ask if still like before, you smile...
i ask the light beam which greets you every morning,
i ask them all if you are fine...
i strain my ear to hear a whisper,
of a voice i hold so dear,
but all in vain, i hear nothing,
you have locked me out, i fear!
i yearned to speak to u sometimes,
its a chance i always had...
then i thought i'd wait until tomorrow,
and silent tears in the night i shed....
but now that tomorrow into today has turned,
i know my voice can never reach you...
i call out hoping it'd clear my doubt...
no answer, you have locked me out!
the sunshine which greets you every morning,
the birds which perch on your window sill...
the whisper i used to strain to listen,
has dissapeared in the night so still....
laughing faces now seem to mock me,
they say the wind will freeze me cold....
and the iron door i wished to open,
has opened and closed on me once more....
the window creaks you've sealed and plastered,
so you wont have to hear me shout...
the faith in me is slowly sinking,
now that i know you've locked me out!!
now that i know you've locked me out!!

@ pesto sauce
some doors are not meant to be opened by the ones outside but instead by the ones inside.sometimes we need not to barge in but wait until we are let in.
and then again, there are some doors which are never opened...hinting that its time for us to give up on them.
Good poem...helpless...
@ phoenix
sometimes life renders us that state of helplessness.
somethings cant be helped.
