every once in a while, life pulls out an old decision and makes us contemplate whether it was worth making it...that is when we realise that we can only win if we manage to push it successfully away, back again!!
and its during these times that retrospection brings about no good...a moment passed is a moment lost and its futile to yearn for that moment to come our way again..
sometimes, nostalgia brings along a sharp pain which can engulf us if we don't let go of it on time..
but there are also times in life, when we lose and its still okay because after all is said and done--those are those moments, those decisions, that we know are worth losing to--losing our ego..losing our pride...losing ourselves...
it is these moments that we need to go right back and hold onto, hoping its not too late...
regret brings along a sharper pain which can engulf us if we dont hold on to it on time..
what is important is choosing our moments wisely!!

wat is also important is knowing that mood swings are the culprit ;)
Well , I agreed with whtever you said , but your last line tempted me to ask , that if we choose moments wisely , isnt that we miss something that comes naturally ?? Of course memories good and bad , follows us in our shadows , but I blv that pain that brings with it always make us end in smile with a satisfaction in our heart , as soetimes only that pain makes us come closer to our beloved! :)

i think u got me wrong there..i did not mean to say tht we got to iterfere with the natural course of things in the fear of getting hurt---that logic hardly ever works anyway...
what i was talking about are the memories and the choices associated with them...
nostalgia is capable of causing bitterness/pain as well as happiness...
we just have to know which ones to hold onto forever and which ones to let go---that is the choice we have to conciously try to make in order to move ahead..
