It has always been complicated, its only the ease of covering the distances that magnifies the perspective otherwise its still the same, in most cases at least.
You'll never know until you jump in that you'll fall or will get wings. Geographical distance isn't anything these days, the distance is in the heart...

geographical distance is hardly ever the one which makes it complicated :)
like 'blasphemous aesthete' said, its the distance which creeps in the heart that is impossile to traverse, if one alone is walking and the other refuses to move...
